On Tuesday’s season premiere of the “Real Housewives of Orange County” Gretchen and Tamra buried the hatchet, Alexis goes to work and the new girl makes a splash on to the scene.

The season starts of with Gretchen getting ready to go have lunch with Tamra. Slade is as confused as we are when he hears the news. Apparently, Tamra wants to bury the hatchet. Gretchen agrees that she has been spending too much time focusing on all the negativity and its time to end it. Slade, on the other hand, tries to explain to her how awful a person Tamra is and how its useless. Gretchen makes it clear that she intends to go either way.

We head to Vicki's neighborhood were she is getting her house ready for some potential buyers. She reveals that she is selling the house. Mike still lives at home and Vicki is still a control freak. She is endlessly trying to make everything perfect for the potential buyers.

She reveals that although Don lives in the house still, she has not seen him in two months. She also shares that she is in a relationship with a southern gentleman named Brooks and is very happy. Although they have been dating for awhile now, she does not bring him to the house out of respect for Don. Well that’s a relief.

Tamra is on her way to meet Gretchen and the meeting could not be more awkward. In the beginning, it was hard for them to interact but once they all laid it out on the table, the lunch date went smoother. Gretchen tells Tamra that she will like her if she just gives her a chance.

Tamra surprises her by telling her that she does like her, which leaves everybody confused. According to Tamra, she does like her but she was just influenced by outside forces to think and talk badly of her. Again, still confused as to how you can like a person but still start off on the "wrong foot" as Gretchen puts it.

Tamra further shocks Gretchen by actually apologizing to her and by giving her a gift! It’s a pink bracelet that has a key on it. The key is meant to lock up their past relationship and open up their new one. Gretchen asks her if she is going to tell Vicki that they are now friends. Tamra is not ready to reveal this information. They both walk out the best of friends.

We head over to Dana Point to see Alexis getting ready to go to work. She reveals that they sold their home in Newport and moved. She is getting ready to go to work. She now has a weekly appearence on Fox 5 San Diego. She gives tips on fashion and fitness every Friday. She prepares everything with her assistant for Jim and the kids. It is only when they are on their way to San Diego that realizes that she forgot to set the alarm. She tries calling Jim, but he is not picking up his cell phone. She starts panicking and her assistant proposes the most brilliant idea: call her house. Alexis attempts to do this but finds out that she does not have the right home phone number. Her assistant is trying very hard not to laugh at all of this.

Tamra brings Vicki lunch at work and Vicki tells her that Don wants to file for spousal support. She tells her that he already has a much younger girlfriend. Tamra can relate to that because Simon is dating a younger girl too. Tamra reveals that Simon still has not given her a divorce. It’s his way of still controlling her after their marriage has ended. Vicki tells Tamra that she is going to throw a party and asks if she should invite Gretchen. Tamra does not tell her that her and Gretchen are now besties, but does say that she should invite her.

Tamra is still holding down a job as a real estate agent. She meets Heather at a property showing (or as the audience knows her, the new girl). Heather is looking for land to build a new home because their last mansion was not big enough. She complains about everything the land has but Tamra decides to invite her out to coffee to build a good client relationship.

Later that day on her way home, Tamra calls Vicki and asks her if she can invite Heather to her party. Vicki agrees and Tamra is excited. Why is she excited? Because Alexis is going to be so jealous of Heather!

Meanwhile, Alexis is busy working. She explains how difficult it is to work on live TV. She proceeds to mess up her lines and make everything she is saying incredibly awkward. She tells the audience she has no experience in journalism (duh) but that if one day she can be like Katie Couric that would be awesome...right.

Tamra finally meets Heather for coffee. Heather lets her know that there are so many things wrong with the property, etc. Tamra knows that this can be a big sale for her so, she invites her to Vicki's birthday. She gives her all the dirt on all the housewives.

The day of the party has finally come. Gretchen and Alexis meet for some wine and gossip. While Tamra and Peggy meet at Tamra's to do the exact same thing. Both groups discuss the Jim and Peggy situation.

Alexis thinks that it was shady for a good friend to not tell her she had dated her husband, which it was. Across town, Peggy tells Tamra that Jim used to date all the hot girls. Tamra is as shocked as we all are. She wants to know if he is well endowed because that is the only reason she can think of to justify what Peggy has revealed. Peggy hesitates and makes it clear by her actions that her and Jim did a little more than just date.

Tamra and Peggy get in the limo where Heather has been waiting for them. Peggy is introduced to Heather and again they give her dirt on the other housewives. Heather is weary of this information and going to the party. She does not want any drama. In another limo Gretchen and Alexis are doing the same thing with their friend Sarah (who is the brunette Gretchen).

They all arrive to Vicki's Cajun themed party and the trouble begins. Right away Alexis and Peggy begin giving each other death glares. Things are about to heat up.

Next week: Trouble in paradise with Tamra and Eddie. Plus, Alexis and Peggy face off at Vicki's party.
