Democrats Hold Own Birth Control Hearing Featuring Female Witness: A week after the controversial all-male congressional hearing on birth control, Democrats organized their own panel on the subject matter. House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi, who ridiculed the House Oversight Committee's panel, convened the hearing. Three other Democrats participated on the panel. The hearing prominently featured 24-year-old Georgetown University Law student Sandra Fluke, who is in favor of President Obama's birth control policy that would mandate health insurers to offer contraceptive coverage to women who work at religiously-affiliated organizations. Fluke was denied the opportunity to speak at Republican Darrell Issa's hearing last week, sparking the controversy on the issue that has spilled over into this week and promises to continue for a while. George Costanza Responds To Romney's GOP Debate "Seinfeld" Remark: It's been off the air for more than a decade, but "Seinfeld" still holds an important place in American culture, as evidenced in the reference to the sitcom at Wednesday night's GOP debate. After receiving applause for his introduction, Romney quipped: "As George Costanza would say, when they’re applauding, stop." Jason Alexander, the actor who played George Costanza, took to twitter Thursday morning fired back against the Republican presidential candidate. He tweeted the following:

Santorum Mocked, On The Defensive After Debate: Rick Santorum is on the defensive as to why he voted for President Bush's No Child Left Behind education law when he said during last night's GOP debate that it was against his principles. On Thursday, Mitt Romney ridiculed Santorum Thursday for voting against his conscience while serving in the U.S. Senate. Said Romney: "We saw Senator Santorum explain most of the night why he did or voted for things he disagreed with. And he talked about this as taking one for the team. I wonder what team he was taking it for." Santorum stood by his comments after the debate, telling reporters, "I mean, you’ve got to be able to pull together to get things done,” he said. “We have a long record of getting conservative things done by being — by going out there and making things happen and pulling things together as part of a team.”

Romney Aide Guarantees Michigan Victory: Mitt Romney's team sounded pretty confident following Wednesday's debate. A campaign adviser to Romney has guaranteed the former governor of Massachusetts will win next week's Michigan primary. Stuart Stevens said after the debate: "We are going to win Michigan. We are going to win Michigan." He added, "This party has a great candidate, Mitt Romney. And you saw tonight, Mitt Romney is ready to be president from day one."

Which Candidate's World View Do You Favor?: A new poll conducted by SurveyUSA found that more Americans share President Obama's worldview over Mitt Romney and Rick Santorum's. According to the poll, 49% of respondents said Obama's world view was closer to theirs, while 35% chose Romney's world view. When pitted against Santorum, 52% said Obama's world view was closer to their own, while 37% chose Santorum's view of the world.
