Offensive tackle Andrus Peat of Corona del Sol High School in Tempe, Ariz. signed with USC's Pac-12 rival Stanford on Wednesday morning.

The 6-foot-7, 300-pound lineman announced on ESPNU that he will join the Cardinal over offers from schools like Nebraska, Florida State and USC.

Peat is rated as a five-star recruit by Rivals and ESPN, and a four-star player by Scout. ESPN ranked him as the No. 2 offensive tackle prospect and the No. 9 overall recruit in the country. Rivals listed him as the No. 6 tackle, and No. 32 overall. Scout ranked him No. 9 among OT prospects.

He was among the top players who participated in the Under Armour All-America Game, and visited USC on Jan. 13.
