Defensive back Devian Shelton of California's Inglewood High School will join the USC football program.

Shelton had previously committed to Oregon State before signing with the Trojans. He also fielded offers from Nebraska, Tennessee, UCLA and Washington.

He was rated as highly as a four-star prospect by Rivals and 247Sports. Rivals ranked Shelton as the No. 16 cornerback in the country, as well as the No. 211 overall prospect. Scout had Shelton as a three-star prospect.
