Seattle’s Grace was full of love (well, almost) as the doctors celebrated Valentine’s Day on Thursday night’s episode of "Grey’s Anatomy."

The episode started as Meredith and Derek struggled to get some alone time while they adjusted to their new lives as parents. Callie had planned a surprise trip for Arizona recommending she bring the following: boots, long underwear, and an extra fleece… not exactly Arizona’s idea of a romantic getaway.

At the hospital Meredith was treating a patient who had been experiencing six weeks of blinding headaches. Turns out she was also having seizures that was slowly damaging her brain. Derek decides that it is best she is put in a medically induced coma to avoid further brain damage until they can figure out what’s wrong with her.

Having still not reconciled after Zola’s birthday party, Cristina and Owen weren’t exactly in the loving mood, barely even acknowledging each other’s presence… that is until a flower shop truck suddenly crashed into the hospital wall, almost crushing Cristina Don’t worry, she remarkably walked away from the accident without so much as scratch. The driver wasn’t so lucky and developed a hernia that needed emergency surgery. The three surgeons assigned to fix him? Teddy, Cristina, and Owen. For those just tuning in to "Grey’s Anatomy," Teddy’s husband died at the hands of Cristina. Owen’s role in the whole fiasco: not only did he not tell Cristina who she was operating on, but he also didn’t tell Teddy until after she finished the surgery

Well, as one can imagine the operating room environment was almost painfully awkward… but at least the driver turned out okay. Later in the episode Owen tried to apologize to Teddy yet again. She proceeded to tell him that not only does she hate him with every active cell in her body, but she also wishes that he were dead.  So then Owen drops a bomb on Cristina while they stand silently in the elevator. He tells her that he will be moving out and will be staying at his mom’s house until he figures out what to do.

Meanwhile in the emergency room, things were slightly more romantic. Young love was in the air as Alex treated a little girl for a severe allergic reaction after her “valentine” gave her peanut brittle. Despite the two love birds’ bickering moms, Alex (yes, Alex) couldn’t help but find their puppy love just a little bit cute.

As some might recall, Valentine’s Day is also Webber’s anniversary. But with his wife’s worsening Alzheimer’s, she didn’t even recognize him when he came home to celebrate with her. So he came back to the hospital and took over Bailey’s surgery so that she could have a romantic dinner (in the hospital no less) with Ben.

But let’s not forget that Valentine’s Day isn’t just for couples. Lexie had a hot date too…. babysitting Zola. And after she learned that Sloan was stood up by his relatively new girlfriend and stuck babysitting as well, she decided to tell him how she really feels about him. But when she finally got up the courage to go to his apartment, Avery of all people was already there cooking Sloan dinner.

Callie finally reveals her surprise to a blindfolded (and nervous) Arizona: a romantic night in Derek’s trailer.

And at the conclusion of the episode Owen and Cristina were still both at the hospital. Cristina begs Owen not to hate her and judging by their embrace, their marriage might be salvageable. But will Owen stay true to his word and move out or will they fix their marriage that seems to be in shambles?
