Fullback Jahleel Pinner Signs Letter Of Intent For USC

Jahleel Pinner, a fullback from Mission Viejo, Calif., signed a letter of intent on Wednesday to play for USC and head coach Lane Kiffin next fall, the school announced.

Listed at 5-foot-11 and 231 pounds, Pinner was among the top fullbacks in the class of 2012, showcasing the ability to be a primary ball carrier in addition to pass blocking.

With the graduation of Rhett Ellison, USC will be looking for a starter at fullback next season. Pinner will compete with freshman Soma Vainuku and junior. Simione Vehikite

Pinner, a three-star prospect by most recruiting outlets, is rated as the No. 1 fullback in the class of 2012 by ESPN, Rivals.com and Scout.

Pinner originally committed to USC last May.
