Colorado's No. 2-ranked quarterback Cyler Miles will sign with the University of Washington, he announced Wednesday afternoon.

The 6-foot-4-inch, 220-pound Denver native committed to the Huskies in June 2011, but had been wavering in recent weeks after an official visit to USC earlier this year.

Miles was given a four-star rating by ESPN, Rivals.com, and Scout. Rivals ranked him as the second-best quarterback No. 35 overall prospect in the nation for the 2012 recruiting class.

The QB out of Mullen High School will compete for a backup job.
