BCBG Max Azria's Fall 2012 RTW Collection Takes New York By Storm

Some strong pops of colors mixed with neutral color blocking was in line with the BCBG minimalist custom styling of color blocking. One of the highlights was the chiffon pleated see through dresses underlain with pops of a coral/tangerine orange.
Models looks were kept minimalist and streamlined with slicked back ponytails and barely-there makeup. A strong black lined cat eye brought the vintage aesthetic full circle with silhouettes reminiscent of that era.

Take away all that fur, (unless it’s included in the wonderfully structured jackets Azria is known for), and you have a gorgeous, minimalist, ready-to-wear collection. The collection re-invents classic silhouettes with minimalism at its core and dashes of trend-setting appeal.
Color blocking stays on trend for the fall 2012 season and BCBG Max Azria revolutionizes the trend, making it wearable for the woman on the street. If you were too afraid to try the trend before, you will find it easy to adapt with this collection.

Max Azria;s collection felt safe for the Fall 2012 season. He took some classic silhouettes and mixed them with his modern tailoring that appeals to all women’s shapes and sizes. The color blocking felt fresh for the season and he is sure to have a hit on his hands for this collection.
