Pio Vatuvei, a defensive lineman from Patterson, Calif. and USC commit, signed with the University of Washington on Wednesday, the school announced.

Though the 6-foot-2, 265-pounder chose the Huskies over Cal and USC at the last minute.

Vatuvei is rated as a four-star prospect by Rivals and a three-star prospect by ESPN and Scout. Those same scouting services list him as the No. 11, No. 43, and No. 52 player, respectively, at defensive tackle.

Washington head coach Steve Sarkisian made the announcement on Twitter, tweeting, "Pio Vatuvei!" with a link to the school's signing day site.
