Bachmann To Run For Fourth Term: Following her failed presidential bid, Minnesota Rep. Michele Bachmann announced Wednesday that she would run for another congressional term.  “I’m looking forward to coming back and bringing a strong, powerful voice to Washington, D.C.,” Bachmann told the Associated Press. A formal announcement is expected to come later.

Gingrich Insists Clinton Comparison Unfair: Newt Gingrich says it's unfair to compare his personal failings to former President Bill Clinton's, despite the fact that they were both having extramarital affairs around the same time. Gingrich insists what Clinton did was much worse because he lied under oath about them. "I didn't do the same thing. I have never lied under oath. I have never committed perjury. I have never been involved in a felony. He was," Gingrich said.

Rubio Blasts Gingrich For Anti-Romney Ad: Newt Gingrich has pulled a Spanish-language radio ad accusing Mitt Romney of being "anti-immigrant" after Florida Sen. Marco Rubio criticized the GOP presidential frontrunner for running the ad. “This kind of language is more than just unfortunate. It’s inaccurate, inflammatory, and doesn’t belong in this campaign,” Rubio told The Miami Herald. Gingrich defended the ad before his campaign pulled it. "We respect Senator Rubio tremendously and will remove the ad from the rotation," Gingrich's Florida campaign leader, Jose Mallea, later said.

What's Nancy Pelosi's Secret?: Newt Gingrich is eager for House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi to open up about the secret she claims to have about Gingrich that could potentially derail his presidential bid. In an interview with CNN, Pelosi claimed Gingrich would never be president. “He’s not going to be president of the United States… . Let me just make my prediction and stand by it … There is something I know." Responded Gingrich: "She lives in a San Francisco environment of strange fantasies and strange understandings of reality. I have no idea what’s in Nancy Pelosi’s head. If she knows something, spit it out. Tell us what it is. I have no idea what she’s talking about."

Warren Tells Stewart Washington Must Fight For Middle Class: In an appearance on "The Daily Show" Tuesday night, Massachusetts Democratic Senate candidate Elizabeth Warren told John Stewart that it is imperative for Washington to fight for the middle class. "Washington now works for those who can hire an army of lobbyists and an army of lawyers,” she said. “Who really pays for that?...America’s middle class. They’re the ones left to pick up the pieces, to pay the taxes, to keep the country running.” On a much lighter note, Warren also predicted her New England Patriots would "spank" The New York Giants in the Super Bowl. East Haven Mayor Joe Maturo In Hot Water Over Taco Remark: East Haven Mayor Joe Maturo is apologizing Wednesday for inflammatory remarks he made the previous day about saying he “might have tacos” for dinner as a way to reach out to the Latino community after four officers were arrested for allegedly violating the civil rights of Latinos in the city. Maturo made the comment to New York's WPIX hours after the arrests were made by the FBI. In a written statement, Maturo said Wednesday: "My sincerest apologies go out to the East Haven community and, in particular, the Latino community for the insensitive and off-collar comment that I made to WPIX reporter Mario Diaz yesterday regarding the recent events affecting our community and our police department. Unfortunately, I let the stress of the situation get the best of me and inflamed what is already a serious and unfortunate situation.“ Maturo declined to appear on camera Wednesday, which is probably a smart decision given what transpired during the interview from the Tuesday. If you haven't seen the video, it is definitely a must-watch:
