As Datsik explained, the album features a wide range of sounds and tempos. With varied vocals sprinkled throughout the album, each track took on its own personality. Releasing January 31st, the first single off his album is called "Fully Blown," featuring rapper Snak The Ripper.
Datsik has already remixed for numerous heavy-hitters such as Bassnectar, Diplo, Wu-Tang Clan, and The Crystal Method. He has also performed at major music festivals such as Insomniac's 2011 Electric Daisy Carnival in Las Vegas.
Now, the young producer's journey with Dim Mak Records is just beginning. Right after the listening party, he flew to Phoenix to kick off the DEADMEAT tour with Steve Aoki. Following the DEADMEAT tour, Datsik will perform again at Miami's Ultra Music Festival as well as at Southern California's Coachella on April 13th and 20th.
Datsik has made a name for himself since 2009, and his star continues to rise in 2012. Datsik fans are likely to be very pleased with his upcoming album, which he introduced as a tribute to his longtime fans and the original style that he started with.
