Wanna see the Beach Boys and Fleetwood Mac on film? Well, you kinda can in the upcoming film The Drummer. The film is centered on Beach Boys co-founder Dennis Wilson’s last years of life. Aaron Eckhart (The Dark Knight) is signed on to play Wilson, and Vera Farmiga (Up in the Air) has signed on as Fleetwood Mac member Christine McVie. (The Hollywood Reporter)

Sad news for all of you who were excited to see Taylor Lautner stretch his acting abilities as Stretch Armstrong. The Twilight star is no longer attached to the project due to scheduling conflicts. (MTV)
