Daily Hollywood – James Franco “Showcases” USC, Abed Welcomes Twins, and More

What would the Winklevoss twins think of this? The Social Network star and future Prince Charming (in that atrocious-looking Mirror Mirror) Armie Hammer was arrested for marijuana possession in Texas. He wasn’t caught for something like carrying dime bags or smoking a J; no, this guy was found with edibles on him. (Us Weekly)

Ohhh, James Franco has awoken the dragon (I was going to write “awoken Traveler” but then realized that wasn’t quite as menacing). He and his brother Dave are behind a new web series called Undergrads, featuring students of our fine educational institution. You’d think this would be cool, until you watch it and USC’s representatives generally act like shallow, hormonally-challenged children. That’s not to say that it’s totally inaccurate—we do love a good party/tailgate—but c’mon, if this series is supposed to represent the undergrad experience, then it’s going at it through a really limited lens. (The Huffington Post)

Congratulations are due for Community actor Danny Pudi! The actor, who plays the strange but charming Abed, welcomed twins into his family. He’s been married his wife Bridget since 2004. (People)

One of the biggest stars of the moment is retiring. No, it’s not Clooney or Pitt: The Artist and Golden Globes scenestealer Uggie the dog will no longer be wagging his tail on the big screen. He leaves the tradition of silver screen adorable to his younger brother, Dash. (Vulture)

Dwight Schrute is one of the best parts of NBC’s The Office, but would you watch him outside of the show? NBC is looking into an Office spinoff starring Rainn Wilson in the iconic role. (Deadline)
