IT'S A GIRL! Babyoncé (real name: Blue Ivy Carter) was delivered into the world in Saturday's waning hours. (Cue the "Destiny's Child" jokes.)
Even from the very beginning, little Blue was given special treatment. Beyoncé and hubby Jay-Z reportedly rented the entire maternity floor of NYC's Lennox Hill Hospital for a whopping $1.3 million.
Beyoncé first announced to the world that she was pregnant during August's MTV Video Music Awards, with speculation about her delivery date ramping up around NYE until now. Previously, it was thought that Beyoncé's due date would be in February.
Last Friday, Beyoncé reportedly checked into Lennox Hill under the pseudonym "Ingrid Jackson."
Congrats are due to both mother and father. Blue Ivy is a lucky, lucky girl.
