Pilgrims of the wizarding word are about to have their room of requirements filled with the news that The Wizarding World of Harry Potter featured at Universal Orlando, Florida Resort will open a second location in Universal’s Hollywood, California park. Initial reports from the Wall Street Journal indicate the official announcement about the new theme park will come sometime next week.

Since the Wizarding World opened in Florida, attendance at Universal Orlando has jumped by 40 percent to 50 percent, Comcast executive vice president Steve Burke said in September.  The Potter Empire is fast becoming the Disney of the millennial generation.

The theme park is expected to mirror the attractions already popular in the Orlando location.  Hogwarts Castle and Hog’s Head tavern are the keystone elements fans will flock to as they recreate the experience of the series which has sold about 450 million copies worldwide to date.

Fans that have been crestfallen over trying to recreate the most popular beverage at the theme park, Butterbeer, will now have an East Coast and West Coast location to toast the magic.  Butterbeer bottoms up!

From Wall Street Journal:

Ms. Rowling approved the original attraction in Orlando and any plans for future "Harry Potter" theme parks, including the Hollywood location, require her consent. Warner Bros. declined to comment. A representative for Ms. Rowling said she was not available to comment.
