You may not know Seth Grahame-Smith by name, but you certainly know his novels Pride and Prejudice and Zombies and Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter. Now, he’s in talks to co-produce a film adaptation of his latest novel, Unholy Night, which retells the story of Jesus as a daring epic about three thieves on the run. Um… this is sure to sate any people looking for the ultimate post-modern Christmas film? (EW)
Hailee Steinfeld already has a Romeo and Juliet adaptation in the works, but she’s been signed onto another adaptation: this time, it’s Ender’s Game. She’ll be starring alongside Hugo’s Asa Butterfield. (The Hollywood Reporter)
