Prince Harry recently told a London publication that he would likely be deployed to Afghanistan sometime in the new year. “I can’t wait to get out there,” Prince Harry told “The Sun." The prince served in Afghanistan in 2007 but his time was cut short when his deployment was leaked to the press. (via Gossip Cop) 

Rumors are swirling that “The X Factor” host, Steve Jones, may not return for the next season. A rep for Jones insists the reports of him being fired is “a fabrication.” However, a show rep insists no decisions have been made for the new season. The show’s finalists will perform Wednesday at 8 p.m. on FOX. (via People Magazine)

“The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey,” the first of two films which chronicles the life of Bilbo Baggins before the events of “Lord of the Rings,” has debuted it’s first trailer. The highly anticipated movie is set to hit theaters December 14, 2012. (via Entertainment Weekly)

Televangelist Pat Robertson wasn’t laughing at one of “Saturday Night Live’s” skits last Saturday. The skit, that included a Jesus character and Denver Broncos quarterback Tim Tebow, was the last act of the night. Nonetheless, Robertson claims the sketch is a part of “the anti-Christian bigotry in this country that’s just disgusting.” The skit has already received 2 million page views on YouTube.
