This Week In The NHL: Coach Murray And Trotz Reach 1000
-Chicago Blackhawks Brent Seabrook left the Nov. 13 game against the Edmonton Oilers with a lower body injury during the second period after crashing into the boards.
-Ryan Miller, goalie for the Buffalo Sabres, has a minor concussion, as reported by the Buffalo News. Miller was hit by Milan Lucic of the Boston Bruins on Nov. 12 in the second period.
-Lubomir Visnovsky, defenseman for the Anaheim Ducks, has a broken finger, which occurred during the third period in the 4-3 win against the Canucks on Nov. 11.
-Fellow Duck George Parros underwent surgery on his left eye to repair a torn retina. Parros was injured on Nov. 4 after he was hit in the eye with a deflected puck during practice.
-Dallas Stars forward Steve Ott is listed on the injured reserved, after a lower body injury on Oct. 29.
-Mike Rupp of the New York Rangers underwent knee surgery to repair a torn meniscus on Nov. 9. The center will miss four to six weeks.
-Los Angeles Kings Scott Parse has been put on the injured reserve list after suffering a lower body injury on Nov. 8.
- LA Kings forward Dustin Penner has been placed on the IR list with a hand injury, joining him is defenseman Alec Martinez with an upper body injury.
- Daniel Paille, forward for the Boston Bruins, left the Nov. 7 game early after getting hit in the face by a puck, off a shot by New York Islanders Steve Staios.
-The St. Louis Blues traded Nikita Nikitin to the Columbus Blue Jackets, receiving Kris Russell in the Nov. 11 trade.
-Braydon Coburn has signed a $18 million four-year contract extension with the Philadelphia Flyers.
