As the deadline for Occupy L.A. protesters to leave City Hall quickly approached on Sunday, many protesters still refused to leave.

Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa announced Friday that the nearly 500 tents needed to be taken down by Monday 12:01 a.m. for public health and safety.

On Sunday, LA City Councilman Bill Rosendahl addressed the Occupy LA crowd, urging them to respect the eviction notice.

Below are some of the sights and sounds from the camp as Rosendahl spoke, and the protesters' responses.
