Justin Bieber isn’t a father. Mariah Yeater, the woman who sued Bieber in a paternity lawsuit “quietly dropped” the suit last Thursday according to reports.

Yeater had alleged that one of Bieber’s security guards asked her if she wanted to meet the young star backstage. After they met, “…we were mutually attracted to one another, and we began to kiss…[he] suggested that I go with him to a private place where we could be alone.” Her four-month-old son, she claims, was a product of that encounter.

Bieber had denied the claims and was going to take a paternity test, but also reportedly warned Yeater’s lawyers that if it came back negative he would counter-sue. Another contributor to the dismissal, in addition to Bieber’s threat, may have been the potential statutory rape investigation against Yeater, as she claimed their rendezvous occurred when she was 19 and he was only 16.

Bieber recently told the "Today" show that “none of it is true…I know that I’m going to be a target, but I’m never going to be a victim.”
