In this week’s episode of "Modern Family," Leslie Mann makes a guest appearance as the object of Cam’s “womanizing” when he makes a bet with Mitchell that he can’t woo a beautiful woman as a straight man. She calls him out on his “smooth” lines and their flirtatious banter leads to Cam winning the bet that leaves Mitchell doing the laundry for a month.

Claire, helping Haley with her college essays, reveals a ‘big secret’ to help her write her essay on the biggest obstacle she has ever overcame. Haley blames Claire and Phil for providing her with too much of a sheltered, boring existence.

Cam’s guilt builds up as he feels the weight of the shattered emotions of the woman he so effortlessly wooed at the bar. He calls her back for a second date, and invites her to their house when she says she’s in the area. But to Cam’s surprise she knew all along he was gay, and only wanted a gay friend to watch Julia Roberts movies with.

Claire drops Haley in the middle of nowhere to give her an “obstacle” to overcome, while Phil and Luke build a tree house at home. When Luke loses interest, Phil ends up befriending the neighbor of eight years that he never knew he had, an orthopedic surgeon named Andre whom he calls, “a badass black man that gives me extra street cred.”

Jay refuses to go dancing when Gloria’s friends want to go salsa dancing, but with a little help from Manny’s smooth moves (and a mood enhancing pill that turns out to be Baby Asprin) Jay surprises Gloria and gives her a romantic evening she’ll never forget, and he’ll never remember.
