Missoni, who serves as president of OrphanAid Africa Italia, has created an array of knitwear pieces adorned with the design house’s signature zigzag pattern in pink and red for the new line, M Missoni OrphanAid Africa Collection.

"Pink is symbolic, it refers to childhood, and red to Africa, and together they were aesthetically pleasing,” Missoni tells Women’s Wear Daily’s Luisa Zargani.

Being a Missoni collection, a girl has to wonder: will supporting this worthy cause break the bank? Much to the relief of well-to-do it-girls everywhere, the line’s pieces are reasonably priced and very affordable, ranging from just $75 to $255.

Save the date, fashionistas! M Missoni OrphanAid Africa Collection launches in M Missoni stores and on yoox.com on November 16.
