Two days after the city's eviction notice deadline passed, many Occupy LA protesters illegally remain on City Hall grounds, waiting for a suspected police raid.

2:33 a.m. Wed The LAPD bomb squad is using a crane with a ramp to take protesters out of City Hall park's coral trees.

2:20 a.m. Wed All tents at City Hall park are down. -BG

2:17 a.m. Wed LAPD has pushed back protesters on Spring St. One woman refused to move and was carried to the police bus.

2:15 a.m. Wed LAPD reports one incident of violence against an officer with the suspect being arrested. Rev. Peter Laarman told the L.A. Daily News that he is unhappy about how LAPD is ripping apart some tents without any explanation of why they are being so rough.

2:00 a.m. Wed Protesters on Spring St., East of Main, are being ordered to leave by LAPD. A quad of riot police ready to move in.

1:40 a.m. Wed Only about 75 people reportedly still inside City Hall camp

1:40 a.m. Wed Huge crowd still behind police lines east of Main on 1st. — BG

1:38 a.m. Wed Those arrested from Occupy L.A. will be taken to Metropolitan Detention Center at Los Angeles and Temple streets, says Kevin Maiberger of the LAPD

1:28 a.m. Wed OLA Rally set for 4 p.m. tomorrow at Pershing Square — BG

1:24 a.m. Wed LA Police Protective League President Paul Weber releases a statement. "Wihle there is a place for civil protest, the unsanitary and dangerous conditions of the Occupy L.A. encampment required that the camp be disbanded."

"...We commend the officers for effectively and efficiently ending Occupy L.A. at City Hall with minimum use of force."

10:58 p.m. Tues Carol Sobel of the National Lawyers Guild just got out of meeting with the LAPD. They will give a 10-minute warning to the protesters to leave. They will then attack the intersection of Main and First Street.

"They are going to use force. They are going to use the baton first," Sobel said. She added, "What I am worried about are juveniles, immigrants and people with warrants." — BG

9:36 p.m., Tuesday KCAL9 interviewed a member of Occupy San Diego who is at the L.A. encampment. They were raided earlier this month by police officers. He stresses that both sides should remain nonviolent and protestors should accept arrest when approached. Earlier today, NT found someone from Occupy Oakland at the camp.— Paresh Dave

9:35 p.m., Tuesday Among those at the encampment is L.A. resident Sarah Belknap. She came down 20 minutes ago to show solidarity. She is willing to get arrested, but hopes not to. She a full-time student and holds a job. "If I get sick and am out of work, I could be homeless in a week. They are fighting for me, so being here tonight is least I can do. I am the 99 percent." — CD
