While Kris Humphries is in the middle of nowhere sweating it out, Kim Kardashian is backing out and returning from her Australian tour early according to the New York Daily News.

"She went to Australia to honor her commitments. However, during this very difficult time she felt it'd be best to return home to close friends and family," her representative told the Daily News.

The reality star, 31, filed for divorce in Los Angeles this Monday only after 72 days of marriage to the New Jersey Nets forward.

An insider told US Weekly that the couple did not know each other enough for the marriage to work and clashed from the get go.

Despite wearing his wedding ring earlier this week after the split, Humphries, 26, was photographed with it off while coming out of a gym in his hometown in Minnesota on Thursday, according to E! Entertainment.

“I’m committed to this marriage and everything this covenant represents,” Humphries told US Weekly shortly after the news of divorce. “I love my wife and am devastated to learn she filed for divorce. I'm willing to do whatever it takes to make it work."

Sources however question where the NBA star was the last few weeks, claiming that “he wasn’t acting like someone committed to giving his marriage a real try.”

“I think when you know so deep in your heart that you just have to listen to your intuition, and follow your heart,” Kardashian told the hosts of an Australian television show.  “There’s no right or wrong thing to do.”
