Jay-Z's "Occupy All Streets" Shirt Controversy Continues

Over the weekend, the rapper has been highly criticized for the sale of the shirt after it was revealed that Rocawear didn’t plan to donate any proceeds from the shirt, sold for $22, to the Occupy Wall Street movement.
“The ‘Occupy All Streets’ shirt was created in support of the Occupy Wall Street movement,” a rep for the line said on Friday. “At this time we have not made an official commitment to monetarily support the movement.”
An Occupy Wall Street leader shot back, saying that “to attempt to profit off the first important social movement of 50 years with overpriced pieces of cotton is an insult to the ongoing fight for economic civil rights known as #occupywallstreet.”
Jay-Z faced a barrage of anger and criticism for the shirt, and all mentions of it vanished from the Rocawear site over the weekend.
