Cairo Chaos Continues-Updated
For the third straight day, Tahrir Square in Cairo is a bloody battleground.
CNN reported at least 22 protestors have died, and at least 1,700 have been wounded.

The heart of the demonstrators concerns are the military's hold on the country, and a proposal that would protect the military's budget from civilian input.
In regards to Gen. Said Abas, the New York Times reported:
"He declared that the security forces had not initiated any violence but only defended themselves, and he insisted-despite a sweep of the square Sunday evening by hundreds of solders and police in riot gear-that the security focus had not entered the square."
