Jews around the world celebrated Yom Kippur on Saturday, the holiest day of the Jewish year. This "Day of Atonement" is traditionally filled with fasting and temple services.
According to Jewish faith, God inscribes who shall live and who shall die into the book of life during these high holidays. The names are written on Rosh Hashanah and sealed on Yom Kippur.
