Even after the end of the series, Potter fans still have more to look forward to. With the theme park in Universal Studios, and the public opening of the interactive website Pottermore, it looks like Harry and his friends will not be forgotten anytime soon. Warner Bros. has announced its new magical tour in London. Muggle fans will have their dreams come true when they can finally enter the world of Harry Potter, through the corridors of Hogwarts and the halls of the Ministry of Magic.

The stars of the film are excited to share with the world the studio that has been their home for the past ten years. Daniel Radcliffe, the star of all eight films, says, “People will be amazed to see the incredible sets that we’ve worked in all these years.”

Not only will the sets be revealed, but the special effects that went into the magic of the films. The Daily Mail gives a sneak preview of the tour, and notes that much of the magical items were not created by CGI but by actual animatronic inventions, such as the gadgets used by the Weasleys and even magical creatures like Aragog the giant spider.

Seeing all the work that has gone into making the films will give fans even more of an appreciation for the filmmakers involved in creating such a remarkable visual experience to match J.K. Rowling’s magical novels. The tour is set to open in March 2012. Tickets go on sale on October 13.
