The city's largest free music festival is back and bigger than ever. With over 60 up-and-coming musical acts and a cornacopia of family friendly activities for your entertainment pleasure, the Eagle Rock Music Festival, is like one great block party.

Angel City Jazz Music Festival

Listen to the smooth stylings of some of the world's most renowned jazz musicians at this weekend's Angel City Jazz Festival, L.A.'s only non-commercial jazz and new music festival. With performances sprawled throughout the city, jazz fans can pick and choose which type of music they are in the mood for—whether it is an upbeat and energetic band like the Pan Afrikan People's Arkestra or a more cerebral performance from French Grammy winning pianist Tigran Hamasyan. Produced by Angel City Arts (ACA), a music presenting non-profit organization, the Angel City Music Festival is dedicated to help cultivate and revitalize jazz culture in this city. Ooh La L.A. Festival

Oh Mon Dieu! The French have invaded some of the city's best music venues with the Ooh La L.A. Festival presented by Golden Voice, KCRW and L.A.'s Consulate General of France. With famed Parisan beatsmiths like Etienne De Crecy and Chateau Marmont providing the soundtrack at intimate venues that include the El Rey and Henry Fonda Theater, patrons can party like it's Bastille Day. 50th Anniversary of "The Dick Van Dyke Show"

Celebrate the golden era of sitcoms with one that pioneered it all: “The Dick Van Dyke Show.” On its 50th anniversary, fans—both old and new—will be treated to a screening of the show’s most memorable episodes at the historic Egyptian theater. Additionally, the comedy’s biggest stars, Rob Petrie (Dick Van Dyke) and Alan Brady (Carl Reiner) will be on hand to talk about the show that helped to define a genre in a discussion moderated by Garry Marshall.
