“The Talk” Continues Without Leah Remini And Holly Robinson Peete

"The Talk" hosts in season one (CBS Daytime)
The two hosts helped begin the daytime talk show that ended season one in July with record ratings of approximately 2.21 million viewers.
Despite the show’s growing success, Remini and Robinson Peete were officially told just weeks before season two premiered that they would not be asked back for another year.
No explanation was given when season two returned with new potential co-hosts Sheryl Underwood and Molly Shannon. Kris Jenner and Wayne Brady have also filled in this season. In fact, Robinson Peete often tweeted that fans didn't know what happened and would come up to her asking when she was coming back from vacation.
Fans rallied on Twitter for their favorite hosts. Viewers began a trending topic with #saveleahandholly and celebrities including Jennifer Lopez and “The View” co-host Sherri Sheppard voiced their support for the two hosts.
Today, a Facebook fan page titled “Leah And Holly Live” has over 15,000 fans and continues to grow. The creator hopes the page will help the hosts find their own show together.
Despite the departure of the crazy sports momma who helped spread autism awareness (Peete) and the mom who brought enthusiasm and laughter to every show (Remini), ratings for season two remain steady.
Ask many fans of “The Talk” and many will agree the shakeup was barely discussed and surprising. Many are left wondering when it’s the right time to have “The Talk” about why their co-hosts left.
