This Saturday, October 15th, gourmet food trucks and restaurants will come together for the South Bay Food Fest at the Home Depot Center in Carson, CA.

The food trucks will include King Kone, Slapfish, and Auntie’s Fry Bread, among many others. Restaurants like Gaetano’s Restaurant, Buffalo Fire Department, and 1321 Downtown will be represented.

The food fest will go from 1-7pm, but those who purchase VIP tickets will have the option to come an hour earlier. VIP ticket holders will also have access to live music and be given free t-shirts, in addition to other amenities.

Alejandra Schrader, who was a finalist on “Master Chef” Season Two, will be giving a cooking demo. There will also be a Kid Zone, which will include an obstacle course for toddlers, a face painter, an inflatable slide, and other attractions.

Guests can feel free to spend their time tasting food (each truck has been asked to provide options that range between $1 and $5) and listening to live music provided by several bands.

Additionally, the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve will be collecting unwrapped toys for Toys For Tots. The toys must be valued at $5 or more. Each guest who brings a toy will receive a voucher to purchase an entrance ticket for $8. Tickets are usually $12 at the box office, and $10 ahead of time online.

The South Bay Food Fest is sure to be an affordable, delicious way to spend this coming Saturday.

Ticket information can be found at their website, and on Facebook
