Nicole Polizzi, more commonly known as Snooki, is threatening to sue a website that published a false story claiming she was arrested for possession of marijuana in New Jersey.

Snooki’s rep told TMZ, “The report is 100% false. As Ms. Polizzi’s legal counsel is currently investigating this matter, we cannot comment any further except to assure the public and Ms. Polizzi’s fans that this story is a complete fabrication.”

According to Marijuana Myth Busters, they claim that Snooki was arrested after a routine traffic stop. The officers smelled burnt marijuana coming from the vehicle, and found a Ziploc bag containing approximately 12 ounces of marijuana upon further search of her vehicle.

The irony in this story, according to TMZ, is that Snooki wasn’t even in New Jersey on the supposed day of arrest; and an angry Snooki has had her lawyers send a letter to the site demanding that the story be removed, or else she will see them in court.

As of right now, the story is still on the website.
