Courts filings released Monday show a serious death threat was made against Selena Gomez.
"The Wizards of Waverly Place" star, and girlfriend to Justin Bieber, was granted a restraining order last Thursday by a California judge after a 46-year-old man told his therapist he planned to kill Gomez.
The man reportedly told his therapist that he had visited Gomez's workplace at least three times.
According to TMZ, the LAPD is taking the case "extremely seriously" due to the man's history of mental illness.
