At last!

After dating for 28 years, KISS frontman Gene Simmons and former Playboy playmate Shannon Tweed got married Saturday evening in a lavish wedding at the Beverly Hills Hotel, according to US Weekly.

400 guests, including Hugh Hefner, Bill Maher, who was live tweeting the wedding and Simmon’s KISS band members, witnessed the nuptial, where Simmons and Tweed exchanged self-written vows.

Hefner also later tweeted, “The Gene Simmons-Shannon Tweed wedding was a very romantic, family affair."

The long-time couple already share two children, Nick, 22 and Sophie, 19, who were both a part of the wedding as best man and maid-of-honor. Sophie also sang Eta James’ “At Last” for her parents' first dance as husband and wife.

The wedding was three days before the return of their reality show “Gene Simmon’s Family Jewels” on A&E.

In the July season finale, America watched Simmons, 62, propose to Tweed, 54, in Belize with a 24-carat diamond ring. However, it was only a couple episodes earlier that Tweed was considering leaving the rocker after years of infidelity. But in an interview with Entertainment Tonight a couple days before the wedding, Gene said, “it’s time for [him] to grow up,” after admitting to have been “doing a lot of wacky stuff for an awfully long time.”

“There's nobody I've ever said 'I love you' to.. I even find it difficult to say 'I love you' to my mother,” he explained, “But I love Shannon with all my heart and all my soul, and always will."

A&E will air footage of the wedding on Oct. 18 in the new season.

The episodes leading up to the wedding begin Tuesday, October 4, 9/8C.
