A video posted on Tuesday shows a young man spewing anti-Semitic rhetoric at an observer of the Occupy Wall Street protests in Zuccotti Park. The protester mocked the older Jewish man and told him to “go back to Israel.”

National Review correspondent Charles Cooke explained what happened:

Moments after I arrived, I saw a Jewish gentleman being berated when he criticized a protester. (Shortly after my video camera was switched off, he (inexplicably) shouted the N-word at the same man.)

Here's the video:

The event appears to be the second anti-Semitic incident captured on video at an “Occupy Wall Street” protest.

A video posted on Oct. 3 showed a man telling a crowd that “the Jews control Wall Street!” When a man who identified himself as Jewish challenged him, the protester called him a “greedy pig” and told him to “go to Israel.”

Some people in the crowd alleged that the protester was paid by Fox News.

“Didn’t I see you getting out of a Fox News van earlier?” asked one person.

The protester responded with, “F**k Fox News” and “a f***ing Jew made that up.”

THE PART YOU ARE LEAVING OUT=
"Lotion man"..aka surname "Cline" is of jewish ancestry himself, so while it may be a hostile and mean way to address someone,
its one Jewish person talking to another Jewish person.

I dont know to many non-jewish clines, and Cline SAYS in the video that he himself is a Jew.

You interestingly managed not to notice that fact, in the rush to capitalize on this.

I don't think any college student gets wealthy writing stories for campus publications. You've been smoking too much weed at those Occupy Wall Street protests if everything goes back to bitching about capitalism for you.

Enjoy taking pictures with your Sony cameras and wearing your Gap sweaters while you decry capitalism, hypocrites.

The guy in the video also says he is a plumber and a college graduate. Failed to notice that, did you? Whoopi Goldberg also has a Jewish name. Is she Jewish? What about the last name Berg? Plenty of non-Jewish Bergs. In any case it's not exactly strange to find people who are "ethnically Jewish" who hate Jewish people or say antisemitic things. What about the second guy? Completely ignored that one in your "rush" to bitch about the name Cline.

50,000 americans are protesting right now in every city. get real. This is your chance to break a real story for the people of this beautiful nation.

How come journalists need to praise Occupy Wall Street idiots but decry the Tea Party? Enjoy taking pictures with your Sony cameras and wearing your Gap sweaters while you decry capitalism, hypocrites. Make real change. Do something productive instead of waste time complaining about capitalism while you log into Time Warner on your Apple computers. Go get jobs instead of squatting in lower Manhattan and holding up signs comparing Wall Street executives to Nazis.

I wouldn’t create a storm about it, but it’s worth watching the trend, at least as we watched every whisper of the Tea Party for anti-Semitic language.

I don't like it either. But how is accusation of antisemitism in response to criticism of AIPAC or Wall Street less objectionable than calling a Jewish affiliate a Jew in a similarly derogatory manner?

Occupy Wall Street hasn't come up with an objective, so it's everybody's soapbox. Instead of the "99%" agreeing to draw one huge line in the sand, you have hundreds of people drawing a lot of little lines that are going off in all directions. Until then, OWS means whatever the hell the pundits, journalists and individual protesters want it to mean, even if that includes Paulites, LaRouche supporters, and anti-Semites.

The big fear for the protesters is that the moment the movement defines what it wants, then the people supporting it can choose to continue protesting or jump ship. So they can either choose wisely the message they want to send, or send none at all. So far, three weeks into this, they're choosing the latter. So yes, OWS is fair game for accusations of anti-semitism.

Age old anti-semitism is alive and kicking. How disgusting.

Curious...a college grad and a plumber. Why do I get the feeling he's neither?
