Why go door-to-door for candy when you can get a Halloween treat for free? The International House of Pancakes is beginning its Halloween festivities early as it offers kids 12 years-old and younger a free " Count Spatula Scary Face" pancake on Oct. 28.

From 7 a.m. to 10 p.m., kids eating at participating IHOPs nationwide will be treated to a complimentary Halloween hotcake as a part of IHOP's "No Tricks – Just Treats" program, designed to provide kids with a safe and fun event for Halloween.

A ghoulish spin on IHOP's regular "Funny Face" pancake, each “design-your-own” Count Spatula Scary Face pancake includes a large buttermilk pancake decorated with a whipped topping mouth and strawberry nose, accompanied by two mini OREO® cookies and candy corn on the side for kids to create their very own Halloween flapjack.

Like all IHOP kids menu items, the special edition Count Spatula Scary Face pancakes are under 600 calories and are available throughout the month of October at participating restaurants.

IHOP is also serving up Halloween fun to all customers with its "Trick-Or-Treat All-You-Can-Eat" Buttermilk Pancake special starting at $4.99, also available during October.  IHOP is also featuring seasonal Pumpkin Pancakes from Oct. 3 through Oct. 31, made with real pumpkin and spices and served with whipped topping.
