Wild Video For San Francisco Mayor Candidate Ed Lee Stars MC Hammer

The season for ridiculous campaign ads is officially upon us, and San Francisco mayoral candidate Ed Lee is way ahead of the pack with this video from an independent supporter:

Lee is running for reelection after being appointed to the interim Mayor position in 2011 to fill the spot of Gavin Newsom, who left his post to become Lieutenant Governor of California.

The ad features endorsements from pop music star will.i.am, Giants pitcher Brain Wilson, former Mayor Willie Brown, Twitter co-founder Biz Stone and a plethora of other celebrities. Set to a music video bringing MC Hammer's "2 Legit 2 Quit" back to life, it's going to be hard to top.

The video is produced by independent supporter Fear the Mustache.
