Myfoxny.com reports that the men, dressed in women’s clothing and wigs, stole a Chanel backpack and a Chanel purse. The bags were customized by storeowner Ashley Turen, and each had an estimated value of $3,000.

Turen describes the bandits’ outfits as “a Halloween costume.” She says she chased the robbers out of the store, but they jumped into a champagne colored SUV and took off.

Police describe the suspects as black men weighing about 200 pounds. One suspect is 5’8” while the other suspect is 6’2”.

Turen confirms that this is not the first time this cross-dressing duo has stolen expensive bags. Several other shops in the neighborhood have been victimized as well.
