Hollywood’s most beautiful couple is also the most charitable.

According to USA today, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have donated $340,000 to the 'Humanitarian Initiative Just Relief Aid' in an effort to help Somalia’s drought and famine.

“Today, three-quarters of a million people are at risk of death in the next four months in the Horn of Africa,” said Jolie in a speech at the annual meeting of UNHCR’s governing Executive Committee.

“The work we are doing needs to scale up to meet the needs of these individuals. It will, quite starkly, determine whether a huge number of people live or die.”

The country has been hit with the worst drought and subsequent famine in more than 60 years. The money will go toward the HIJRA’s health services, which will help about 750,000 Somalis at risk of starving to death.

On top of this grand donation, Jolie will also be taking on a new role with the United Nations as a “Special Representative” on the Afghan refugee situation.
