A new hair color is a great pick-me-up, but some colors are more daring than others. Bright pink hair seems to be appearing everywhere recently, from the runways of Thakoon and Meadham Kirchoff to "Glee" star Dianna Agron, rapper Nicki Minaj and even on Katy Perry's October Instyle cover.

The look is unexpectedly fresh and modern rather than immature, and though a full head of pink hair might be a little too extreme for every day, a pink streak is worth consideration as a fun and quirky new look. Most colored hair dye washes out in about a month, so this trend is easy to try without making a big commitment. If even a month sounds a bit daunting, there's always spray-in hair dye that comes out in the shower, making it possible to try out pink for just a day.

In fact, colored hair in general is worth a try for anyone looking to add a little pizzazz to their hair. Although pink was the most common color this year, blue hair also made an appearance at Narciso Rodriguez and Thakoon, and has been spied on Kate Bosworth. Dark colors, like blue and purple, can be subtlely incorporated into hair to create an refined but edgy look, while brighter colors are the perfect accent to a noteworthy outfit. Colored hair is a fun and easy way to create a fresh, daring new look at any age.

Dear Sir/Madam,

I have the pleasure to brief you on our Data Visualization software
"Trend Compass".

TC is a new concept in viewing statistics & trends in an animated way
by displaying in one chart 5 axis (X, Y, Time, Bubble size & Bubble
color) instead of just the traditional X and Y axis. Discover trends
hidden in spreadsheets. It could be used in analysis, research,
presentation etc. In different business sectors, to name a few we
have Deutsche Bank, NBC Universal, RIM, Vanguard Institutional
Investor, Ipsos, Princeton University as our clients.
