Arnold Schwarzenegger is writing his autobiography, tentatively titled "Total Recall," announced the publisher Simon and Schuster Thursday.

The former California governor will team up with Peter Petre, who co-authored Alan Greenspan’s and Norman Schwarzkopf’s autobiographies, to write the book.

"Schwarzenegger presents a larger-than-life portrait of his illustrious, controversial and ever-entertaining life in and out of the public eye," said the publisher.

Schwarzenegger recently made headlines when he confessed to having a child out of wedlock with a member of his household staff, which resulted in his divorce from Maria Shriver.
