The Los Angeles County Coroner recently released Russell Armstrong’s autopsy, which includes toxicology results, revealing neither alcohol nor drugs were found in his system at the time of death. Russell, a frequent cast member of “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills,” was found hanging by an electrical cord on August 15.

Taylor Armstrong, his wife, agrees that her husband was not murdered, but in fact committed suicide. She reveals that in the last month before Russell’s suicide, they had been engaged in intense couple therapy sessions.

Other cast members of “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” also believe Russell committed suicide, speculating that he could not handle the pressure of his failing marriage, financial struggles, and dealings with the wrong people.

Nonetheless, Russell's family has a different perspecitve. “We want a murder investigation,” John Ann Hotchkiss, Russell’s mother told Us Weekly. “We will do whatever is necessary to proceed.”

According to TMZ.com, Russell’s family refuses to accept the evidence that points to suicide, insisting that someone must be responsible for his death since Russell had been undergoing financial troubles. He has been accused of defrauding investors, and his family believes he may have cheated people out of desperation. His family is currently in the process of hiring a private investigator in the hopes that they will find evidence of a murder.

As for Bravo’s “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills,” the show premiered on Monday, September 5, with a special segment before the show about how Russell’s death has affected each housewife.
