J. Cole is scheduled to appear for a meet and greet Thursday afternoon at Ground Zero Performance Café located on the University of Southern California campus, according to Coffee Bar manager Ari Oh.

The up and coming rapper will be at the student run café from 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. before his performance at Club Nokia in Los Angeles later that night.

J.Cole’s album, “Cole World: The Sideline Story,” is scheduled to be released on September 27. He is currently signed with Jay-Z’s record label Roc Nation, which he joined in 2009. This will be the rapper’s first solo album but he has been featured in songs with artists such as Kerri Hilson, Jay-Z, and Miguel.

In a recent interview with the San Francisco Chronicle, he said, “ I think the main thing is to, step one, put out music they’ll fall in love with. Then step two is touring… Those are two things that I think will solidify a purchase.”

J.Cole’s album can currently be purchased for pre-order on Itunes.
