President Obama’s West Coast fundraising swing came to Los Angeles Monday evening where he was the guest of honor at two events.

The president first hit up the House of Blues where boosters paid a minimum of $250 for the opportunity to hear the president speak.  During the House of Blues event, Obama talked about what the American dream used to mean.

"If you did the right thing, there was no reason why you couldn't afford to have a home and have health care that protected you in case you got sick, and you could send your kids to college so they could do even better than you did," Obama told the crowd.

At one point during his speech, the president was interrupted by a heckler.  The heckler shouted “Barack Obama's the anti-Christ” as the Secret Service led him out of the event while the crowd booed the man.

Tickets to the second event put a bigger dent in supporters’ pocketbooks with a steep price of $17,900 per person.  Obama was greeted by protesters from the Southern Immigration Coalition outside the Fig & Olive restaurant who called on the president to overhaul the nation’s immigration policy.

The president is scheduled to leave Los Angeles Tuesday morning.
