Lettuce grown at a California farm has been recalled amid listeria fears.  About 90 cartons of romaine lettuce from True Leaf Farms was voluntarily recalled after an FDA research product discovered the presence of the bacteria.

The recall comes on the heels of three other listeria-related recalls in September according to Reuters.  Officials report at least 13 deaths due to listeria-contaminated cantaloupes grown in Colorado.  An additional 72 people across 18 states have fallen ill as a result.

So far no illnesses have been reported as a result of the lettuce recall.
