For those of you looking to find something exciting (and tasty) in Los Angeles this Labor Day weekend, the Los Angeles Times and Food & Wine are joining forces to host a city-wide culinary extravaganza that will certainly make for a fun and delicious holiday weekend: THE TASTE.  

THE TASTE is a four-day food and wine festival featuring celebrity chefs, live musical entertainment and, of course, a never-ending supply of gourmet food, wine, beer and spirits — in both the literal and figurative sense.

THE TASTE presents an epicurean heaven for foodies and regular folks alike. Guests — for a steep but worth-it price — will have the opportunity to savor endless gourmet food, wine and other delicious items from 40 of L.A.’s premier restaurants, wineries and breweries, as well as see legendary culinary icons like Giada De Laurentiis, Duff Goldman, Ludo Lefebvre, and Claire Robinson.  

Guests will also be treated to live cooking demos with celebrity chefs, mixology performances, and even a grand Labor Day “Picnic in the Hills," hosted by Giada herself.

Labor Day is traditionally dedicated to celebrating the last hurrah of summer with a backyard BBQ, but if you’re a foodie you should definitely head over to THE TASTE.
