I don’t know whether to roll my eyes or say, “Awwwww.”

When Justin Bieber takes Selena Gomez on a date, he goes all-out.

Since normal dates are apparently below the superstar couple that we deem “Selieber,” Bieber rented out the Staples Center for a private movie screening of “Titanic” Friday night.

Bieber apparently started the evening off by taking Gomez to Demi Lovato’s concert at the neighboring Nokia Theater. Needing to build on what would be a good date for normal people, though, Beiber walked Gomez to the Staples Center via an underground tunnel, where she found the 20,000 seat stadium empty except for a table for two set up on the court.

Lights dimmed, the two enjoyed a steak dinner and watched “Titanic” under the glow of the Jumbotron.

Wait, though, there’s a catch. Bieber didn’t pay to rent out the massive arena, which MTV estimates would have set him back a pretty penny.

Instead, AEG reportedly gave him the venue for free as a “thanks” for selling out his past three concerts at the arena.

Excessive, but enviable.

Looking past the fact that the Biebs ripped the idea off of an Adam Sandler movie, it seems like Bieber took every cheesy cliché and chick flick fantasy and threw them into a blender to come up with this date idea.

I don’t think too many girls would turn around and leave if some guy rented out the Staples Center for them, but a nice, quiet date night can be a good thing. Take note, Selieber.

Still, this establishes that Biebs is no longer the little kid with the hair. He has the power to “wow” his girl and take her on “a night she’ll never forget.”

And like we say around here, sometimes Justin Bieber deserves respect.
