Break out the tiger blood and get ready to #win.

Though Charlie Sheen may have faded from the spotlight for a few months, the premieres of “Two and a Half Men,” his roast and a much calmer persona mean that Sheen is back in the public’s eye.

When Sheen took the stage at last Sunday’s Emmy Awards, no one knew quite what to expect, especially after the fiasco of a year he’s had, which has included scandals, shocking interviews and an obscene amount of Twitter posts and trending topics.

After everything he’s been through, it was a shock to see a composed, sober Sheen on stage, wishing the new of “Men” cast well even as the show goes on without him.

“I know you will continue to make great television,” Sheen told the audience with a slight nod.

From the show’s premiere’s ratings last night, it looks like they’ve succeeded. “Men” secured the top spot with an outrageous 27.7 million viewers last night, including Sheen himself.

“Odd... But cool..! So far a lot of laughs!!” Sheen tweeted about the premiere, seemingly continuing his support for the network and show that fired and replaced him with Ashton Kutcher after his antics.

This new Sheen is a far cry from the “warlock” who said earlier this year that CBS should apologize to him while “licking his feet.”

But what does this all mean?

It’s clear that people were getting a little tired of the bi-winner, so a break was definitely a good thing. It looks like Sheen has emerged from his image landfill – er, rehab – in a place where he’s able to support his former friends and even laugh at himself, which he proved during his roast.

That’s right, Charlie Sheen’s Comedy Central Roast finally premiered last night, and it definitely caught viewers’ attentions. Though the ratings didn’t get anywhere near “Men,” the Roast did get about 40,000 tweets relating to it, according to Gigaom.com.

 “Charlie is an amazing medical specimen. I guess that’s what comes from waking up at the crack of crack,” actress Kate Walsh joked during the show. Walsh was joined by Mike Tyson, Amy Schumer, Jon Lovitz and others in roasting Sheen, who sat back and took all cracks in stride and with a smile. 

“Once again, I have come out unscathed. You can’t hurt me. Hell, even I can’t hurt me. … I’m done with ‘the winning’ because I’ve already won,” Sheen said when concluding the roast, dashing hopes and calming fears of another relapse of the drug called Charlie Sheen.

Though Sheen may never return to the rock star from Mars who we couldn’t take our eyes off of, that might not be such a bad thing, after all.

Good for you, Charlie. Here’s to a much calmer 2012.
