Fashion Night Out in Beverly Hills
The sun went down on Rodeo Drive on September 8, 2011 as Fashion's Night Out struck 90210. The global shopping event in which over 100 other cities participate in pays homage to Fashion Week in New York City. This year, Rodeo Drive was the most high-end fashion carnival ever created! The three-block stretch of Rodeo Drive saw a great deal of business and sales on this warm summer evening. This year, over 15,000 guests attended. There were so many exciting elements for the average consumers from free mini-manicures at Guess, hair and make-up compliments of Gilt City, champagne and hors d'oeuvre at almost every store and even hair styling.

There culinary options of the evening included seventeen gourmet food trucks that left people hungry for next year's event! Proof of purchase at participating retailers in 90210 granted guests a complimentary ride on the iconic ferris wheel that won rave reviews last year.

As a part of Gucci's 90th anniversary celebration this year, the store featured the Limited Edition FIAT “500 by Gucci.” The cinquecento, designed by Gucci Creative Director Frida Gianinni and FIAT’s design team, was only featured on Rodeo Drive and in New York City for FNO. “When the FIAT 500 first hit the road in the fifties, it created a style revolution,” says Creative Director Frida Gianinni. A drop into the Chanel store boasted their three new Fall nail shades, created exclusively for Fashion’s Night Out by Peter Philips, Creative Director of Chanel.

A look back to the 1920's was what went on at La Perla, where the store had a “Roaring 20’s Cocktail Party.” If that wasn't your forte, you could've gone to dance the night away where DJ's were spinning beats at Bally, Giorgio Armani, Louis Vuitton, Yves Saint Laurent, and Tiffany & Co. Guests were even allowed to get decked out at Van Cleef & Arpels as they were allowing people to try on jewelry and take fun photos.

Fashion's Night Out was definitely a monumental night on the town in Los Angeles! Till next year, cheers!
