Anderson Cooper premiered his new daytime talk show yesterday morning, and it’s pretty much as one would expect it to be: classy, sincere, and not at all influence by his dreamy persona (that last point may be false). (The Daily Beast)

Yesterday night, the reality show Bachelor’s Pad ended, and SPOILER, the team of Holly Durst and Michael Stagliano won. Which makes the fact that Holly and fellow contestant Blake Julian are now engaged a bit awkward. (US Weekly)

Oh, the times they are a changing: remember when Jon and Kate Plus 8 was a show? And then the Gosselin family fell apart on TV, and things went downhill from there. Well, here’s to hoping the Gosselin kids can still try and salvage some of their childhood: the post-divorce spinoff, Kate Plus 8, ended last night. (EW)

Stop everything, Whitney Houston is going back into acting. She’s in talks with producers to star in Sparkle, a remake of a ‘70s drama that dealt loosely with the rise and fall of the Supremes. Also in talks: American Idol winner Jordin Sparks and actor Mike Epps. (The Hollywood Reporter)
